Sometimes our to-do list seems to be never-ending and can cause us to become overwhelmed.  We may feel pulled in several different directions. Life can get crazy even for those who seem to have it all together and can multitask. We all tend to get discouraged when things aren’t getting done and everyday you are adding more to your list. So what do we do? Do we throw our hands up and quit and let the stress totally consume us?

The best thing to do is to look to God! Instead of focusing on the problem or our list that may be a mile long, let’s focus on God. Have you ever thought about the fact that it is impossible to be discouraged and focus on God at the same time. God is always there to comfort us and carry our burdens.

Here are several verses to focus on if you are feeling this way.

Psalm 32:7-8King James Version (KJV)

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

2 Corinthians 12:9King James Version (KJV)

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

1 Peter 5:7King James Version (KJV)

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Deuteronomy 31:8King James Version (KJV)

8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Psalm 34:17King James Version (KJV)

17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
