It has been a tough here in Central Florida over the last couple weeks. We have had three horrific events take place in a few short days. These are things that no one should ever have to experience.

*A young lady lost her life to a deranged fan. A family lost their daughter and sister way  before her time.

*A lunatic went into a club and killed 49 people and injured over 50 more. A senseless crime committed all for his so called religion.

*A young boy was killed by a creature of nature. A complete accident that could not have been predicted or prevented.

These three events may seem like they have nothing in common besides location and time frame. Unfortunately they have HATE in common. I have watched and listened to people attacking the innocent. When did it become okay to attack the victim?

The young singer did nothing to make that guy travel hours to kill her. Those people in that club are not to blame for a crazed gun man. Those poor parents of that little boy are definitely not to blame for a creature of nature.

Why do people want to attack the ones hurting? We should be loving them. We were given a commandment to love others as God loves us. Not a select few, God loves everyone!

Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I know God is brokenhearted over all the events that took place. I am completely brokenhearted over all the hate that has been spewed out. A true child of God will display love to those who are hurting. I know sometimes it is easy to judge but we really need to start looking at others as God does.

Are you casting hate towards others or are you loving them?
