Isaiah 64:8                                                                                                                                                                                           But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

This verse describes us as clay in the potter’s hand. I’ve never worked with clay and a potter’s wheel, but I’ve seen it. I was thinking about that analogy and the last blog I wrote about Open Doors. Just like those doors we have to be willing. God will not force us to go through an open door nor will He force us to be molded and changed.

The clay has to be in the center of the wheel for the Potter to be able to mold it correctly. We also have to be in the center of God’s will to be molded by Him. We have to allow Him to have full control of our lives. We have to put our trust in Him completely so that He can shape us into a useful vessel. Jesus has to be our Lord and Saviour of our lives.

God can use anyone who is willing. It doesn’t matter what your life may look like at any given time. It is not about our ability. It is about our availability. I have learned over the last few years that all He wants from me is a willing heart. He has done some incredible things in my life recently. It has all happened because I made the decision to let Him start molding me.

Will you allow God to mold and change you? Amazing things can happen when we allow God access.
