Matthew 5:9 (KJV)

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

This verse continues with how we should be living. If we are living for God, people will notice and call us His children. So, how do we display ourselves as peacemakers? Do we need to solve the world peace issues?

I believe this verse points straight back to Jesus. Jesus was the “Prince of Peace.” When He went back to heaven, he left peace with us in the form of the “Holy Spirit.”  So, how can we be peacemakers? First, we have to have peace through salvation. Then we share that peace with others. We tell others about the great things Jesus has done for us. We tell them how Jesus loves them and wants to provide peace to them.

This week let’s work on sharing our peace with others. Remember, even if you don’t talk to someone, they are watching you. Are you living a life of peace that others can recognize Jesus in you?
