Well, almost. May 30, 2018, was my last blog post. I can hardly believe two years have gone by so fast! So much has happened. We have sold businesses, opened new businesses, became grandparents again, started our Foundation, traveled, and now we are planning a wedding. Our son is getting married in October of this year and we are super excited about the new chapter in his life.

Our newest grandchild, another little boy came into our lives in 2019. There is nothing more special than being Mimi and Papa to those two boys. Looking forward to more in the future.

Our Foundation, Anchored Support Foundation, really got off the ground in 2019.  One of our first major projects was helping one of the Abaco islands, Green Turtle Cay, rebuild after Hurrican Dorian came through. You can see our website for pictures and updates on the progress. We are still working over there and then we have some local projects we are working on. The foundation has been a dream for some time and it is awesome to see it come to life.

It is just amazing how quickly time has flown. Over the last two years, I have been helping a friend of mine, Matt Manzari, get his book finished. I am so excited to share it with you. It is now available for pre-order and I will provide the link below. He has an awesome story to share about how life happens sometimes. Nobody survives two near-death experiences, right? Well, Matt did and has a testimony about how when we are challenged in this life we can lean on God to direct our attitude and make choices that will help us to overcome our struggles.

I am so excited that I was able to be a part of this project and hope that everyone will read his book and be challenged to be the best we can be! Go to his webpage and learn more about Matt and check out the pre-order link.

I will not make any promises but I am going to work on at least posting more often than every two years. I think my next post will be called, “There is no easy button.”
