Psalm 116:1-2
I LOVE the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Have you ever thought about why you love the Lord? Do you love the Lord?
There are many scriptures and reasons why we should love the Lord. Think about the verse above. Don’t we all enjoy when we feel like someone is listening to us. We tend to gravitate towards those people that we feel like we can depend on. Those ones that will hear us and pray for us. We call them our best friends, the ones we love.
God is the best friend we could have. He loved us before we loved him. He will always listen to our concerns when we call upon Him. There are times when we call upon people to help us and they don’t have time. God always has time for His children. He loves to hear from us.
We should love Him for many others reasons than just because He listens to us, but I definitely find comfort in knowing that He will always be there for me when I need him.
Broken But Anchored 
I love this blog! God IS my best friend! The first thing I do when I am conscious of being awake is to say “Good morning God, Good morning Jesus. Good morning Light.” Then I talk to God throughout the day. Thanking him for blessings as they happen and asking for help with even the smallest things. I share my excitement and my sadness even when he already knows. Thank you Connie for always having just the right things to write in your blog! I forget that my habit is really a true blessing. This blog reminded me of what I take for granted! Keep it coming!
