Sometimes that is a hard question to answer. Over the years I have worn many hats and worked at many jobs. I was a cashier, waitress, office clerk, sales rep, hair stylist, and writer. My most important titles have been wife and mom. Under those I was also known as a taxi driver, cook, therapist, party planner, housekeeper, nurse, teacher, sometimes I was even the plumber or cow whisperer when we worked with show animals.
You may be laughing by now. But how true is it? We all have many labels. We all have names we are called by. I talked about this in my blog “A New Chapter.” Each new chapter in our lives earns us a new name or job title. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first grand baby where I will wear a new hat, as MiMi. Wow! How exciting, yet very challenging. I will have a new life to influence. How will my grandson see me? Will I always be a Godly example for him? We should all ask ourselves that question, regarding the people we come into contact with daily.
The most important label to me today would have to be that I am a child of God. I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, and I pray that those around me see Him in my actions. I believe my life purpose is to help spread God’s love to others by being a servant. Jesus was the greatest example of coming to serve others. My desire is to serve others as He did with love and compassion. I hope you will learn more about me and my heart to be a servant, as you follow my blog.
Anchored In Christ,
Connie
